Silverson Bottom Entry mixers are typically used in conjunction with a stirrer/scraper unit. The Bottom Entry mixer gives high shear homogenization while the stirrer/scraper distributes the homogenized output uniformly throughout the vessel. This is ideal for high-viscosity cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food products. They can also be used on low viscosity products to wet out powders. Clean-in-place design with a simple, easy to clean construction.

Silverson has advanced their line of Bottom Entry mixers to offer an ultra-hygienic unit incorporating several options, including minimized number of product contact parts, electro-polished finish and special hygienic shaft seals.
